A Letter from Our Founder
My name is Andres.
I’m the founder of Circlo, and this is why I walked away from the system to build something better.
I spent nearly 15 years working across the fashion industry. I worked in supply chain, digital teams, strategy offices, and market organizations. I negotiated big deals. Drove growth. Helped shape the future of some of the most well-known brands out there.
But the more I saw, the more I realized just how difficult real change would be.
I tried to push from the inside. I supported initiatives. Built the business cases. Launched pilots. Every time, it eventually hit a wall—it just went too far against the grain. The model couldn’t flex. Not really. Because the model was the problem.
Most fashion companies can’t change.
Their entire business is built on a direct link between production and sales.
To grow, they have to make more. And more. And more.
Eventually, I came to a hard truth:
The system doesn’t need to be changed.
It needs to be rebuilt.
That’s why I started Circlo.
Not to patch the old model. To scrap it. And start again with zero waste as the foundation, not the afterthought. I spent nine months working through it:
What would a fashion brand look like if it was built to eliminate waste from day one?
But even more than that, what would it look like if it was built around the consumer?
A place that makes it easy to find great, high-quality pieces. Easy to resell what you no longer wear. Easy to recycle what’s worn out. And above all, a brand that lets you keep buying and wearing what you love without the guilt, without the waste.
That’s what Circlo is here to build. A brand, an ecosystem that is not just better products, but a better experience. One that is built around people and their diversity.
There are days I wonder if it would’ve been easier to stay where I was. But then I remember why I started. The frustration. The closets full of regret. So I know I made the right call.
Circlo isn’t perfect. It’s a work in progress.
But it’s built with purpose and a different future in mind.
If you’re curious how it’s going, I’ll be sending semi-regular founder updates. The good, the messy, and everything in between. It won’t be glossy, but it’ll be real.
Thanks for being part of this.
